BETER, a provider of fast betting content, data, and live streaming for esports and sports, has been awarded the Gold Standard Accreditation by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC).
This is the highest recognition ESIC offers for integrity in esports betting products, and it follows BETER’s recent designation as an Anti-Corruption Supporter earlier in May.
The Gold Standard Accreditation was granted after a comprehensive and rigorous audit of BETER’s operations, with a particular focus on its flagship ESportsBattle tournaments, which generate more than 36,000 events each month.
The audit evaluated BETER’s adherence to ESIC’s integrity framework, which sets out best practices for tournament governance, security and participant welfare.
Areas assessed included governance, educational and awareness initiatives, physical security, surveillance systems, device restrictions, referee oversight and overall compliance with ESIC’s standards.
BETER’s internal Integrity team plays a central role in maintaining oversight across its esports events.
The company implements mandatory e-learning programmes for all participating athletes, operates a 24/7 whistleblowing platform, runs the Integrity BOOTCAMP programme, and maintains comprehensive incident reporting systems.
BETER also collaborates with law enforcement agencies and sporting bodies to support a robust risk mitigation framework.
As a result of these extensive measures, fewer than 0.01% of BETER’s events over the past year were flagged for suspicious activity.
ESIC’s Gold Standard is reserved for tournament organisers and betting content providers that demonstrate a commitment to fair play, anti-corruption and education.
Only a select group of global organisers have met the stringent criteria required for this accreditation, which is subject to annual review to ensure continued compliance.
BETER organises more than 45,000 monthly in-house events across eight esports and sports disciplines, offering 24/7 streaming, real-time data, and odds.
The company’s commitment to integrity and transparency is now recognized at the highest level within the global esports industry, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner for operators and stakeholders worldwide.
The ESIC Gold Standard Accreditation underscores the growing importance of integrity frameworks in esports, as the industry continues to expand and attract new audiences and investment.
