Big bed on smaller bed frame?
Im moving into my first apartment and buying my first bed. I want a floating bed/Japanese style look, which means that whatever mattress I buy will appear larger and take more space. I want an Olympic queen mattress (80”x66”) for size optimization. But there are no bed frames for this size. I’m considering buying a queen size bed frame (80x60), a king size box spring (80x76) , and putting my Olympic queen mattress on top to achieve the floating look.
