Brad Pitt Channels '90s David Beckham With a Slim Sweater and Buzz Cut

Brad Pitt stepped out Sunday in New York City wearing a monochrome outfit and buzz cut, which altogether unmistakably channels an air of ‘90s cool, particularly the vibe of stars like David Beckham.

Pitt wore navy blue trousers and a similarly hued quarter zip sweater. He topped off the ensemble with neutral loafers and, his signature, sunglasses. But the most notable thing about his relaxed look is his hair. The actor shaved off his head of hair and went with a buzz cut, reportedly for the upcoming F1 movie in which he stars alongside Damson Idris and Javier Bardem. Pitt’s grazed look is most reminiscent of his early 2000s hair—yes, shortly before he and Angelina Jolie started dating—during which the star rocked the buzz cut, most notably in Mr. & Mrs. Smith and while promoting the 2005 film.

Past the shock of his hair transformation, Pitt’s style has had something remarkably youthful about it lately, too. The 61-year-old actor has made rare appearances with his 32-year-old girlfriend Ines de Ramon in recent days, and their couple style is worth taking note of. Just Saturday night, Pitt wore a blue velvet jacket over a striped shirt and jeans with what appear to be square-toed boots. It felt like something Beckham would wear in the ‘90s when he and Posh Spice’s couples looks were all the rage. De Ramon wore an all-white ensemble and nude peep-toe heels.

The two’s couple fashion stayed strong Friday night, too, when Pitt rocked a silky and loose top with black jeans, and de Ramon wore an off-shoulder butter yellow mini dress with a matching Chanel bag.

With Pitt flaunting his salt and pepper buzz cut, O.G. fans are getting to relive some Y2K moments. Expect to see more of the actor as he promotes the F1 movie, which hits theaters June 27, 2025.
