Esports tournament organiser BLAST has announced a partnership with Nova Wallet, a mobile wallet developed by Novasama Technologies.
The deal will see the wallet collaborate with the tournament organiser over five events, beginning with season one of BLAST Premier Rivals.
According to a release, Nova Wallet will become the ‘Official Self-custodial Wallet Partner’ of BLAST Premier Rivals, season two of BLAST Premier Bounty, BLAST Premier Open and BLAST Premier Rivals.
In addition to BLAST’s extensive portfolio of Counter-Strike events, the wallet will also partner with the tournament organiser for the BLAST.tv Austin Major taking place in June.
“BLAST has a huge calendar for Counter-Strike events in 2025 and we’re delighted to welcome Nova Wllet on-board for the rest of the competitive season,” said Freddie Beale, Head of Sponsorship Sales at BLAST.
“Nova Wallet’s bespoke mini-game will allow fans to interact with our events in an innovative new way, whether inside the arena bowl or watching at home. With events spanning three different countries, we’re excited to showcase Nova Wallet across the globe, including at the prestigious Austin Major in June.”
As a partner, the Nova Wallet brand will be integrated into event broadcasts alongside appearing in a physical capacity on the backdrops used during tournaments.
Alongside brand integration, Nova Wallet will launch a prediction mini-game, providing fans with another way of interacting while watching matches online or attending events.
For Nova Wallet, the deal marks its first foray into the esports industry. The wallet is used to support over 100 networks and operates on the Polkadot blockchain.
BLAST’s partnership portfolio growth
The deal with Nova Wallet is the fourth partnership secured by BLAST in 2025.
In addition to the wallet, the event organiser has also inked deals with fantasy platform Underdog, Dell’s gaming brand Alienware, and Reliance.
With the event organiser operating some of the largest Counter-Strike events in the world, there’s a high chance more brands join forces with BLAST and its products throughout the remainder of the year.
