Ceiling crack fix
As the title suggests, looking for some advice on patching up this ceiling crack. The issue that caused the crack has been fixed and I’m looking to paint the room soon and want this patched before that. All the references on YouTube deal with small cracks and suggest opening up the crack to allow the mud to actually get in there. With a crack this large is there really any need to do that or would I be fine skipping that step and moving straight to the mud and taping?
