Check Out This Year's LEGO 'Star Wars' May the 4th Lineup

Fans of Star Wars are gearing up for another May the 4th celebration as the franchise's annual holiday nears. Per usual, Disney has plenty of exciting releases planned for the iconic series, including new additions to the LEGO Star Wars line. LEGO has just officially presented what to expect from May 4 this year as it has again prepared a new wave of sets to enjoy.Up first is the newest addition to the Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) -- Jango Fett’s Firespray-Class Starship. We've seen Boba Fett's green and red version of the ship arrive in UCS form previously, however, this is the first time that his father Jango's ship has a set dedicated to it since 2002's 352-piece build, which has been outdone by this new 2,970-piece set that features an interior, movable entrance, and, of course, its iconic seismic charge. Premium minifigure renditions of both Jango Fett and Boba Fett as a kid are included as well.As for the standard releases, a Chopper (C1-10P) Astromech Droid set sees the beloved droid in its largest form yet, joining other characters such as R2-D2 and C-3PO as buildables. A new 594-piece Rebel U-Wing Starfighter arrives just in time for season two of Star Wars: Andor, with Cassian Andor, K-2SO, an Imperial Agent, and Dedra Meero all present in minifigure form. Branching out from the line's typical style, a new Brick-Built Star Wars Logo build recreates the iconic movie title card with its 700-piece structure. Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle is the latest ship to arrive in Midi-scale while new additions to the helmet series include both Jango Fett and Kylo Ren's helmets. Rounding out the new range is two BrickHeadz sets -- a Revenge of the Sith Heroes and Villains five-character cast and Luke Skywalker in his Rebel Pilot uniform.Select sets are already available for pre-order via LEGO with the official launch taking place on May 1. Gifts with purchases, while in stock, are set to be available during the first five days of the launch. These include Jango Fett’s Starship Key Chain, a Kamino Training Facility set, Millennium Falcon Mini-Build, and more. Prices begin at $10 USD for the BrickHeadz Luke Skywalker (Rebel Pilot) and go up to $300 USD for Jango Fett’s Firespray-Class Starship. View this post on Instagram A post shared by LEGO (@lego)Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
