Continuing the Frankenstein-d ethos of the first Union LA x Air Jordan 1 collaborations from 2018, this pair sews an Air Jordan 1 "Shadow" collar onto the upper of an Air Jordan 1 "Chicago," and uses powder blue thread at its collar seam for a strikingly-contrasted delineation between the two OG colorways. Other details include a paper-like tongue tag, exposed tongue seams, an "aged" midsole and an insole with illustrations that nod to the shoe's design process.Early reports have this Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High OG collaboration slated for a February 12, 2025 release, though this information has yet to be confirmed by Jordan Brand or Union LA. The duo worked on the silhouette in 2018, producing two colorways that combined vintage aesthetics with a stitched-together style that saw mismatched collars applied to each pair.
