Critics Choice Awards 2025 Red Carpet: See All the Celebrity Fashion

The 30th annual Critics Choice Awards got underway at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California on February 7, 2025. The event, hosted for the third consecutive year by comedian Chelsea Handler, was postponed twice from its original date of January 12 due to those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. Like the Golden Globe Awards, the Critics Choice Awards honors achievements in both film and television and is a tell-tale indicator of what might go down at the Oscars next month.
On the film side, Demi Moore took home the Best Actress trophy for The Substance. “For anybody out there who is still on their journey, still struggling to find their way.... because it hasn’t happened, doesn’t mean it isn’t happening,” she said in her speech. Adrien Brody won Best Actor for his monumental turn in The Brutalist while Zoe Saldaña and Kieran Culkin continued to prove their status as Oscar front-runners, earning wins for Best Supporting Actress and Best Supporting Actor, respectively. In television, favorites like Shōgun, Squid Game, and Hacks all won big.
Of course, all this meant that A-list stars were out in full force, with many of them making their first red carpet appearances since the Globes in early January. As opposed to the historically formal Globes and Oscars, however, the Critics Choice Awards offer celebrities a bit of leeway to experiment with their red carpet style.
