Denim Tears Put Swarovski Crystals on Its Signature Wreaths in New Collection

Denim Tears just refreshed one of its most popular styles with a glitzy touch, thanks to some fresh Swarovski crystals.

The celebrity-favorite fashion label—worn by artists like Cardi B, Central Cee, A$AP Rocky, Bella Hadid, and more—is behind the Cotton Wreath pattern, which has been a very popular style in recent years. Thanks the new pieces with Swarovski embellishments, that signature print is getting a makeover across 18 new, blinged-out pieces. Pricing for the collection varies, with graphic T-shirts retailing for $70 at the lowest end and a Cashmere Cotton Wreath Zip Hoodie retailing for $1,400, as the priciest item in the drop.

The collection is now available to shop and is available online at denimtears.com and in-store at the label's African Diaspora Goods storefront at 176 Spring Street in Manhattan. Shot by photographer Neva Wireko, the campaign highlights the collection’s shiny details, capturing how perfect the new pieces are for lounging about or wearing out. Light interacts with the crystal-studded designs in a way that exudes both luxury and comfort.

The brand, which was founded by Tremaine Emory in 2019, aims to talk about the Black experience and American politics through its clothing. The Cotton Wreath pattern, after all, is Denim Tears' own symbol to allude to the African Diaspora. Emory calls it "a talisman for Black people." The drop—which also includes the Cashmere Cotton Wreath Shorts for $950—features pieces under the African Diaspora Goods line, too. These all retail under $200, compared to the sparkling cashmere pieces.

This drop is sure to be a hit. Denim Tears knows how to bring new life into its pieces, whether that's by adding a twinkling twist or full on collaborations, which it has notably done with Levi's, Stussy, and Dior.
