Do I really need LFT thinset for 16x4 subway tile?

Hello! I am tiling my shower and have 16x4 ceramic subway tiles picked out. I bought some thinset, but the bag says that the maximum long side of tile it can be used for is 15". So the manufacturer instruction says yes I need LFT for this tile, but I thought I'd sanity check this here as my search for "LFT" typically shows like 12x24 type tiles, big ones. Thought I'd double check before I return it. submitted by /u/shoeeebox [link] [comments]
