E5 On Hisense Portable AC; drained, but error persists.

Hi, all. This feels like a silly place to post this, but I'm not sure where else to turn. I have a Hisense brand portable AC in my bedroom, I've had it for 1-2 years now. Today, I sprung an E5 error message. I know, from past uses, that this indicates that the water reservoir is full and must be drained. I unplugged it, drained it until nothing was coming out, and plugged it back in. Everything worked fine for about five minutes, and now, the error is back. Unfortunately, everything I looked at said "drain the unit," but didn't say what to do if draining the unit isn't fixing the issue. Am I SOL? Is there anything I can do? submitted by /u/Gojira8985 [link] [comments]
