What to do with my concrete block porch foundation?
Hi all! We recently purchased a home in the Midwest and I’ve been going through and renovating as we have time (and motivation). I’ve been doing landscaping and building our beds (forgive the uneven mulch, just putting that in now lol) and am now questioning what I want to do with the bare cinder block foundation of my porch. End goal is to paint white with black and cedar trim, so I was considering putting a cedar fascia on it and then doing cedar shake shingle on the front of the awning. Other options are painting it, covering with stone or brick.. or? Also, if anyone has a recommendation for an app where I could upload pictures and then edit them to add different options to get a preview of what it might look like that would be extremely helpful!
