Everything to Know About Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Actor Starring in the 'Buffy' Reboot
The 15-year-old actor is set to star in the highly anticipated Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot.

There’s a new vampire slayer in town.
Ryan Kiera Armstrong, the child star known for her roles in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew and Firestarter, will star alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar in the upcoming Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot, according to reports that came out Wednesday. The name of Armstrong’s character, who will be a vampire slayer alongside the icon from the original '90s TV show, is currently unknown.
Hulu, the show’s distributor, has not released much information about the new series since ordering the pilot in February, but we do know that Nomadland director Chloé Zhao will direct the episode.
Armstrong found out she got the role from the OG slayer herself: “How do you feel about helping me save the world?” Gellar said when asking the young actor on a Zoom call if she'd join the cast, which she shared on Instagram yesterday.
