Flange for Concrete Grinder

Hi! I recently bought a Dewalt DT3797 diamond cup wheel for some light concrete grinding. However, when I tried installing it on my 5" Dewalt angle grinder, I noticed that the M14 locking nut is too large to fit through the center of the wheel.
