FlyQuest announces departure of Marvel Rivals player Ghasklin

Esports organisation FlyQuest has announced the departure of its Vangaurd player Ghasklin from its Marvel Rivals roster.

In a post on X, FlyQuest said: “Today we are announcing the departure of Ghasklin. Thank you for being a part of our first Invitational run and first steps in Marvel Rivals.”

In a response on X, Ghasklin said: “I will be taking a short break to decompress and de-stress I have A LOT going on in my life right now and will be taking a very short break.”

Ghasklin did go on to clarify that he was not leaving the esports scene entirely, sharing that he was currently looking for a team or organisation to join.

Ghasklin originally joined FlyQuest on March 12th, 2025, alongside the organisation’s other six currently active members. Before joining the organisation, he previously competed for Shikigami and NTMR.

His greatest achievement with FlyQuest is arguably during NA Invitational #2, where the team won 3-1 against Sentinels back in March 23rd to advance to the grand finals. Despite losing to 100 Thieves 2-4, the organisation left the competition with $20,000 (~£15,000) in winnings.

Unlike Sentinels, who lost both of its Vanguard players earlier this month, FlyQuest won’t be short-handed when it comes to upcoming tournaments such as Marvel Rivals Championships for Season 2. This is because the team debuted with a seven-player roster – similarly to Shroud-X and 100 Thieves.

Still, ita success in upcoming tournaments will entirely depend on the flexibility of the other members of the team. According to Liquipedia, only Ian ‘SparkChief‘ Rivera Cruz is listed as a Vanguard main. In the current meta, and the increasing prevalence of dive characters, playing with one tank is not impossible, but is far from ideal.

Fans will have to wait and see how well FlyQuest performs without Ghasklin in its current Marvel Rivals roster.
