The Clash Royale League (CRL) has unveiled a new community-focused format for the 2025 season.
Changes to the format provide players with more opportunities to qualify for the CRL World Finals taking place at the end of 2025.
Clash Royale League 2025 Format
For 2025, the CRL will provide ‘direct involvement from the community’ with four organisations hosting four events that offer leaderboard points and four Golden and Silver Tickets.
In total, 12 Golden Tickets will be distributed across the four events, the leaderboard, the last-chance qualifier and a China Tie-in event. The top 1,000 players from the Path of Legends are eligible for event qualifiers, with the top 12 securing a place in the event finals.
The winner of the event finals will receive a Golden Ticket, which provides direct qualification to the World Finals. Additionally, each event will feature a $50,000 (~£37,282) prize pool.
Six Golden Tickets are available through the CRL Leaderboards. Players can earn points beginning with the second day of event qualifiers.
This year will see the CRL adopt a last-chance qualifier event. Four runners-up from Golden Ticket events and the eight players below the Ticket winners from the leaderboard will compete for a chance to qualify for the World Finals.
