Garden enclosure made of only 1” x 4” cedar boards?
Hey all, I was looking to make a garden enclosure similar to this or this Doing some reading it seems like untreated cedar is the way to go. The only problem is my local HD only has cedar 1”x 4”boards (trying to stick with HD to utilize a financing coupon I have along with some other stuff I need). Is it a bad idea to try and make the enclosure out of only those boards? I haven’t done a project like this before so it’ll be a learning process, just not sure if I should utilize pressure treated/ground contact wood in certain areas like the 4x4 posts or if I can make due with 100% 1x4’s Any advice is appreciated! submitted by /u/InBlurFather [link] [comments]
