How to complete the Hot Wet Summer challenge in BitLife
Unlike real life, BitLife has no seasons since each age-up is a six-month or one-year skip. However, that doesn't mean we can't have some fun seasonal challenges, with Hot Wet Summer being one of many examples. While becoming a lifeguard and water slide tester is simple, the last two tasks are tricky. Nonetheless, you won't need any expansions or special career packs for them, as they're almost entirely luck-based. Be born in Brazil Your first task of BitLife's Hot Wet Summer challenge is to be born in Brazil. You can pick whichever place in Brazil and gender you wish to use as long as Brazil is your birth country. You can also emigrate at any point, but this isn't required for the challenge. Although you don't need a specific Looks stat at the beginning for this challenge, having high stats will help you with the fourth task later on. Try to make a character with high Looks; we can raise it slightly later, but avoiding plastic surgery minimizes the risk of a botched procedure messing with your chances of becoming a famous film star. Until then, let's focus on two other jobs. Become a lifeguard Screenshot by Destructoid Unlike the other two jobs on our list, becoming a lifeguard doesn't require aging up to 18 and finding a full-time job. Instead, once your character becomes a teenager and unlocks part-time work, age up and check the part-time job list, aging up as needed until you find a Lifeguard position. It'll appear with an "SOS" emoji next to its name. Become a Water Slide Tester The first full-time position on our list is a Water Slide Tester. Head into your full-time job list and scroll to the bottom until you see this position. If you don't see it right away, close and reopen your BitLife app or age up. It'll appear with a blue bikini icon next to its name. Screenshot by Destructoid While a part-time lifeguard position doesn't require an interview, becoming a full-time Water Slide Tester does. Apply for the position and pass the interview to land the job, letting you complete this challenge's third task. Become a famous Film Star Although I won't elaborate on what, exactly, this entails, let's just say you won't need the Actor career pack for this. Instead, head into your full-time job listings and refresh your options by aging up or closing and reopening the app. Your goal is to find any option related to BitLife's adult film industry, ideally, one related to acting or camera work, before applying. Doing this narrows your results, making it easier to become a film star. Once you find a film star role, apply and pass the interview to land the job. From here, it's just a matter of aging up, working hard, and putting in extra hours until your character becomes famous. The duration of time required varies, but it shouldn't take longer than a few in-game years. Alternatively, you can use the Hollywood Star to make it instant. Push someone off a cliff Yep, this challenge takes a wild turn. For this last task, head into Activities, Crime, and Murder. Your victim choice is up to you, but you'll have higher odds of succeeding if you pick someone randomly. The important part is picking Push off Cliff as your method. Otherwise, there's a chance the victim will retaliate, killing your character. Unfortunately, this means you'll have to start from the beginning or use BitLife's Time Machine mechanic to go back in time. You may also get caught by the police, but this doesn't matter as long as the attempt is successful. Once you take on all three jobs and toss someone off a cliff, you'll complete BitLife’s Hot Wet Summer challenge, rewarding you with a cosmetic prize.
