Grab Four Months of Disney+ UK for just £1.99 a Month, After 60% Price Drop
Disney+ UK has launched a 60% off, £1.99 a month promotion for its ad-tier subscription, giving you four months for a total of £7.96 (instead of £19.96) — only valid until June 30.

In a world where you need to pay at least £8 for an ad-free streaming subscription these days, Disney+ UK has come in with a tempting alternative limited-time offer: four months of a Disney+ ad-tier subscription, for only £1.99 per month.
Valid from now until 23:59 on Monday, June 30, 2025, you can sign up and have access to the full Disney+ library for those four months. That's before being set to auto-enroll you onto the ad tier's standard price of £4.99 a month. However, you can simply cancel your subscription before that happens, so you only have to pay the promotional price. Keep in mind that this offer is also only available for new subscribers and those returning who currently don't have an active subscription. If you, for example, have a £4.99 ad-tier subscription that's set to run out at the end of the month, turn off the auto-renew and sign up for the offer under an alternative email address, so you'll be able to save with only a minor hassle. While still subscribing to the ad-tier does mean you'll be subjected to pre-roll ads during films and series, along with some during, you'll only pay £7.96 for four months of Disney+ instead of £19.96. Just paying 40% of the price does take a good amount of the sting of getting ads for a paid subscription away. Being subscribed to the ad tier via the £1.99 a month promo entitles you to the regular perks stated on the Disney+ Help Center. Along with 5.1 audio, streaming quality will also be up to 1080p, and you will be able to stream on two devices at the same time — meaning you could watch Andor on your TV in one room, while another checks out the new Predator: Killer of Killers movie on their PS5 in another. If you want ad-free streaming and the ability to download movies or shows to watch offline, you'll have to upgrade to the 'Disney+ Standard' tier for £8.99 a month. However, this will cancel out your £1.99 a month promo subscription. As the Disney+ offer page not-so-subtly points out in the fine print, it's a good time to have a subscription with the first three episodes of Iron Heart and season four of The Bear dropping later this month — June 25 and June 26, respectively. While this does seem like a big push to hopefully pull in extra subscribers and get viewing figures up, The Bear is indeed a great show that's worth subscribing for. Although the jury's still out on Iron Heart, Disney+ is in general, one of the better streaming services out there. Its ad-tier was already cheaper than Netflix's £5.99 version, but this offer definitely puts it as a frontrunner. Along with all of the standard Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars content you want, there's some decent and recent series to catch up on. Including Peep Show, Daredevil: Born Again, Paradise, Rivals, Shogun, X-Men '97, and What We Do in the Shadows, there's plenty to justify paying £7.96 in total for four months of Disney+.
