Grounding Panel for Shipping container need advice.
I am installing an electrical panel in a shipping container on my farm. I will be using a portable generator as the power source, there will be no grid power. What is the best way to ground the panel? I believe I have this figured out, but would like an electrician to confirm. I think the best solution will be to drive 2 ground rods more than 6' apart and connect them directly to the electrical panel. I will connect the generator via a twist lock 240 plug on the outside of the container and run the wire into the panel to a 30a breaker. Bond my ground and neutral in the panel, and have a floating neutral at the generator. Does that sound correct? What did I get wrong if anything and how to fix it? Or if there is a better way to do it let me know please, I know that I could do the opposite and connect the ground rod Directly to the generator and then bond the neutral at the generator and then isolate the ground/neutral in the panel but I don't think that will be the better way but I may be wrong.
