GRP Roofing Topcoat Waterproofing.
Could someone experienced and credible please confirm whether a GRP base (matt/resin) should be fully waterproof? Or if the topcoat is required to prevent leaks. I have a new roof with a leak and the supplier/manufacturer have told me that the topcoat is likely to be the issue. There are a handful of small areas that look to be missing topcoat but these are miles away from where the leaks I've witnessed are, two of which could be caused by careless cleaning myself close to upstands and flashing.
