Elden Ring Nightreign is out today. Are you getting it, Destructoid?

Elden Ring Nightreign has finally arrived, and the bravest of souls are jumping in either solo or in teams of three to take on the various bosses in this new rogue-like take on the soulslike formula. A multiplayer souls-like game is not going to be for everyone, though, especially when you need a team of three to enjoy the game to the fullest, as there is no option to play as a duo or more than three players. Solo is also incredibly difficult currently and needs to be rebalanced to make it workable for the vast majority of players who haven't got thousands of hours of grinding beneath their feet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylaXlj14VpQ So I have to wonder, are you planning to pick up this game, Destructoid? And if so (and if not), why? For the aforementioned solo players, there's very little reason to pick this up, especially if you don't like to queue with randoms who might make the experience a nightmare for a game that requires such coordination to make each run work. It's also painfully clear that good teammates who are in sync will have a far better time than those who are running about doing their own thing. You have to work together on this one. So what are your plans? It's pretty affordable, but do you plan to wait and watch some content creators or streamers play it first? Is it not your cup of tea? Are you a day one believer and are already grinding towards the ending and trying to find all the game's secrets? Let me know in the comments below, and for those that have picked up the game, I'll see you in a run, nightfarers! The post Elden Ring Nightreign is out today.
