How do I hire an architect?
So I have a dilemma and need some help. We are a building a small roof on my trailer but we are unable to get a permit because the city needs an architect to approve our plans. But here's where it gets confusing. I've called different architects and they say it's illegal to approve plans that they haven't designed themselves and not building themselves. I dont need them to build it since I already have everything ready but I can't move forward unless I get someone to approve them. So how do I get an architect help with this? I'm in Washington state if that helps.
