How do I make a door out of mesh?

Hi! I am making a garden. We have a racoon problem so I am putting in a fence. All I have to work with is chicken wire and t posts. I am layering the chicken wire to make a 6 foot fence. I have done three sides, dug the bottom of the mesh in several inches to hopefully deter them from digging under. Now I am trying to figure out what to do about the door. I want the bottom of the whole side to be dug in like the other sides, so I think I am going to leave a few inches at the bottom and cut a rectangle into the mesh to make the door, but I don't have hinges and since the mesh is flexible I need to secure it the whole way around which I feel like would be tedious to go all the way around with little wires or something. Maybe if I made the door significantly larger than the frame so it overlaps too much for the raccoons to fit? Any suggestions? I've been looking and thinking and can't quite decide what to do. I have access to a LOT of free mesh and not much else. submitted by /u/Mikki102 [link] [comments]
