How to attach D-rings for sun sails on patio - using the nails somehow, or put in other hardware?
Apartment patio, the nails were there before, and feel very solid; the white panel is metal. Can they be adapted somehow to securely hold D-rings? Or should we be putting in some other type of hardware? If another type of hardware, like screws, would it be okay to do in that same crack, or do we need to go through the mortar? My SO and I have different thoughts so came to ask you all! And yes we know it’s an apartment and all but other tenants have drilled through brick to add hanging flower pots, one even added an awning themselves, we’re not concerned about the apartment company getting mad Any help would be appreciated! submitted by /u/CheeseCatsBirds [link] [comments]
