How to find Earthy Aegis treasure in Avowed
Emerald Stair is full of secrets in Avowed, and one of them is the Earthy Aegis treasure map. This item starts a side quest where you have to look at a single image of some location in Emerald Stair and find a treasure nearby. How to start the Earthy Aegis treasure map in Avowed Let's pump the brakes on the treasure for a second and first learn how to actually find the Earthy Aegis map. This map isn't purchased through a vendor or given to you by any NPC in Avowed. Instead, you have to visit the Naku Tedek Grounds location in the southern part of Emerald Stair. Screenshot by Destructoid Here, you can loot a chest on the western side of the grounds and find the Earthy Aegis treasure map. For what it's worth, you will visit the Naku Tedek Grounds as a part of the story in Avowed, so you can just wait to go there during a main quest or seek it out if you want to explore the map. When you find the map, the Earthy Aegis Treasure Map side quest begins in Avowed, and you can now go seek out the treasure somewhere in Emerald Stair. Earthy Aegis treasure location in Avowed Now that you have the treasure map, you can view it from your quest journal to see that it depicts some kind of ruined building that sits above a water source. If you look closer at the treasure map, you'll also see that the treasure is accessible from the lower part of the ruined buildings. If you're anything like me, you maybe had a vague idea of where this could be in Emerald Stair, but no real guess. I spent nearly 30 minutes scouring around all of the water sources in the region to no avail, but then I finally managed to find the ruined building depicted on the map. You're looking for an area to the northwest of Fior mes Iverno. Specifically, the ruined building where the treasure is located is between Tama's Cabin and The Delemgan Glade. For an additional reference point, it's northwest of The Wildwoods and Lake Lacuna. Screenshot by Destructoid At this ruined building, you won't be able to unlock the front door right away and head inside to grab the treasure. Instead, head right from the front door and go on a large tree branch that circles the building. Eventually, you'll reach a small window that's covered with smaller branches. You can peer through this window to see the inside of the building. On the wall just to the right of the window is a switch you can interact with to open the front door. This is pretty easy to miss and you have to be fairly close to the switch to be able to interact with it. The switch you need to press to open the front door of the building. Screenshot by Destructoid Head back to the front door after pressing the switch, go inside the building, and loot the chest to secure the Earthy Aegis treasure. The treasure is the Nature's Ward unique shield, which is of Exceptional Quality and features some impressive stats. This was easily my best shield option when I looted the treasure. The Nature's Ward is the Earthy Aegis treasure. Screenshot by Destructoid Once you loot the shield, the Earthy Aegis Treasure Map quest has been completed in Avowed. If you're looking for more treasure, you can also seek out the Painter's Regret treasure map, which has a treasure that's not too far from the Earthy Aegis reward. Once you loot the shield, the Earthy Aegis Treasure Map quest has been completed in Avowed. If you're looking for more treasure, you can also seek out the Painter's Regret treasure map, which has a treasure that's not too far from the Earthy Aegis reward.
