How to find Granite in RuneScape: Dragonwilds

There are several different pieces of rock and ore you can mine in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Granite Deposits are slightly darker than the stone boulders, but the two rocks look fairly similar. This can often lead to you mistaking stone for Granite, especially if you're not in the right region on the map. Granite Deposits are most commonly located all across the Stormtouched Highlands. This region is located on the northwest side of the map, beyond the Whispering Swamp and west of the Fractured Plains. It's a power level three area with strong Garou enemies that have several different weapon types, all of which are lethal. The Stormtouched Highlands also has a higher dragon spawn, and lightning often strikes the ground in random places, which will damage you if you're caught in the crossfire. In Stormtouched Highlands, you mainly want to look for Granite Deposits at the base of large mountains and cliffs. Along the rock formations, you'll often find one or two Granite Deposits sitting next to each other, along with Iron Ore. As we said before, though, Granite often looks like stone, so make sure the HUD says "Granite Deposit" before you start mining it. Finding Granite out in the wild. You can learn how to find Bronze and make a Bronze Pickaxe in our previous guide, but the short version is you need Copper and Tin Ore along with a Furnace. Copper and Tin Ore are primarily located in the Fractured Plains region. You can also find a small number of Granite Deposits in Fractured Plains, but you're better off sticking to the Stormtouched Highlands for all your needs. How to farm Granite in RuneScape: Dragonwilds Now that you know the general area you want to look for Granite Deposits, how about a way to farm it? While no farming method is going to be too reliable since the spawn rate for resources in RuneScape: Dragonwilds is fairly slow, there is one solid farming method for Granite. To take advantage of the method, you're going to want to bring materials for a Lodestone so you can easily fast travel back and forth between the farming location and your base. Next, bring your Bronze Pickaxe and plenty of inventory space. The Vault location is marked by the blue icon in the northwest part of Stormtouched Highlands. Inside the Vault, there are several easy-to-reach Granite Deposits you can quickly mine without alerting any Vault enemies. Once you've mined all the Granite available, use the Lodestone, fast travel to your base, and wait a few in-game days for the Granite to spawn again.
