The Monster Hunter series is no stranger to odd collectibles, and Monster Hunter Wilds carries on that tradition with items like the Origin Wylk Gem. Knowing where to find these items not only nets you a healthy bit of investigation points but also helps you more easily stock up on rare items. You don't earn access to that location until near the end of the Low Rank story campaign, and you have to re-earn access to the Ruins in High Rank, as well. You'll spend Origin Wylk Gems primarily with Ren in the village of Sild in the Ruins of Wyveria.
