Grow the plant and wait for it to get hungry. When it offers a slice of cake from its mouth, have your Sim eat it. Disease The Sims 2 Unlock the SimSanto Inc. Biotech Station by achieving level 6 of the Science career. Have your Sim use it whilst in a bad mood for a chance to produce a virus. Sims with a low Logic skill will have increased odds of doing so. You can also die from Disease if you let an illness go untreated for 10 in-game days. This includes illnesses like Food Poisoning (eating spoiled food), Pneumonia (developed from an uncured cough) or the flu (caught by exposure to cockroaches). Drowning The Sims 2 Command a Sim to swim in a pool, then remove the ladders so they cannot escape. They will eventually drown once their energy meter is low enough. Make sure you remain on the lot throughout the process. Electrocution The Sims 2 Have a Sim attempt to fix broken electronics. Death is more likely to happen if the Sim simultaneously stands in a puddle of water or has a low Mechanical skill. Fire The Sims 2 You can start a fire in numerous ways. Either by lighting a fireplace near furniture, leaving food on a hob or using a grill inside (placing a rug underneath a lit grill can increase your odds). Once a fire starts, do not extinguish it yourself or allow the firemen to do so. Flies The Sims 2 Attract flies to your lot by leaving piles of trash around your house. Avoid cleaning both your Sim and house and wait for the flies to swarm. Fright The Sims 2 Have a Sim observe a ghost. Increase your chances of death by making sure the Sim has low needs and positioning them closely next to the ghost. Historically, a Sim could also die from Fright if they used 'The Runs With Scissors Playset by ADD' object. This object was an add-on offered by TheSims2.com which has since been shut down. Hail The Sims 2: Seasons Have a Sim stay outside during a hail storm with at least 4 needs below 50%. Lightning The Sims 2: Seasons Have a Sim with low needs stand outside during a thunderstorm. Remove any trees or lightning rods from the lot as it will increase your chances of the Sim being targeted. You have a better chance of attracting lightning if you have your Sim fly a Kite outside during a storm. You can make the Brinks' Kite in-game but it requires The Sims 2: Open for Business expansion. Murphy Bed The Sims 2: Apartment Life Open and close a Murphy bed on repeat. Increase your odds of death by ensuring your Sim has low needs and a low Body Skill (less than five). Old Age The Sims 2 Simply wait for your Elder Sim to reach the end of their lifespan. You can speed this up with cheats. Rally Forth The Sims 2: Open For Business Have a Sim with low needs perform the 'Rally Forth' social interaction. The interaction is a Business Perk Point under the 'Motivation' tree. Earn business levels to unlock. Satellite The Sims 2 Click anywhere outside a lot and command your Sim to 'Stargaze' or 'Watch Clouds' depending on the time of day. There is a slim chance that a satellite may fall on top of your Sim, crushing them to death. If the interaction doesn't initially happen, queue it up and try again. Starvation The Sims 2 Build a wall or fence around a Sim without a door or gate for them to escape. Speed up time and remain on the lot to see their hunger decay, eventually resulting in death. Sunlight The Sims 2: Nightlife Have a vampire Sim stay outside during the daytime. Wishing Well The Sims 2 Have a Sim with low needs wish for money at a Wishing Well. Repeat this wish several times until it backfires. There is a chance the well will either kill the Sim or damage their needs. That completes our list of 17 ways to kill Sims in The Sims 2.
