How to Watch the Europa League Final for Free: Tottenham Hotspur v. Manchester United

Has there ever been a more climactic end to a woeful football season? Both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have endured a torrid few months domestically, with the two clubs sitting in low league positions.

Thankfully, there’s a chance for at least one of them to emerge with some credibility this season, with the Europa League trophy up for grabs. The final, which will be played in Bilbao, Spain, will host the all-English affair.

Not only is the trophy itself to be coveted, but the winner will also snag another chance at the Champions League next season. With that comes added pull for what’s likely to be a hectic summer for both teams, as well as a chance to play against the best teams in Europe, so there’s a lot at stake.

How to Stream the Champions League Final in the US

We've spoken before about how Paramount+ is one of the best streaming services for sports at $7.99 minimum, and it's been no different for the Champions League.

If you are eligible for a free trial, however, make sure that you turn off your auto-renew so you don't get charged at the end of the week if you don't plan on using the service afterwards.

How to Watch the Europa League Final for Free

The Europa League final kicks off at 8pm BST / 3pm ET on May 21, and will be shown for free on Discovery+ in the UK, and subscribers-only on Paramount+ in the US ($7.99/month).

If you're in the US (or anywhere else globally) and own a VPN, then you should be able to use it to get around the geo-blockers and make use of the other country's service where the match will also be available (Discovery+ for example in the UK).

Using a VPN (like those we've shown above) to change your location to London, you can simply log into your discovery+ account, and enjoy the Champions League final for free.

If you aren't yet a free member, you will need to register your information, though, so be sure to do that in advance so you’re not scrambling around with seconds before kickoff.

“Viewers without discovery+ simply need to download the app on their mobile device, web or access via their TV, register their details online, kick back and enjoy the game for free,” TNT Sports explained for those in the UK.

Spurs v Man United Record: Did You Know?

Spurs have already beaten United not once, not twice, but three times this season. Does that give them a psychological edge? It’s hard to say, but it’ll be interesting to see if they can make it four from four. In fact, between the two sides, they’ve lost 39 matches in the Premier League this season.
