Small section of rotten subfloor

Had heavy rain yesterday and saw this leak from the outside under the deck door. I’m going to replace the door casing and use sealant to prevent further water entry, but my question is what to do with this. It’s pretty well rotten and soft to the touch, but it’s isolated to this small section between these two joists. It’s also directly under the casing for the outside door, so it would virtually never get stepped on. Can I just use some wood hardener and monitor it or do I 100% need to replace this section? submitted by /u/KingGeedorah69 [link] [comments]
