How would you raise an already hardibackered floor to install LVP?

Yes, I know this makes no sense. I installed 1/4 hardibacker over my 2nd level subfloor to install tile. Now for numerous reasons we need to switch to LVP. The floor needs to come up another 1/2" before LVP. What's the best way to do this without removing the hardibacker? Can I simply go plywood over it, then the LVP membrane/barrier? The really thick LVP underlayments (Quietboard, etc.) are only ~1/4". Just trying to figure out the best way to handle this. submitted by /u/cnwinger [link] [comments]
