Hydroneumatic Pump weird behaviour

Hello guys! I was wondering if you could help me with some troubleshooting. I have a hydroneumatic pump installed at my house and the last couple of days has been working weird. It is not maintaining the pressure on my sink. I can hear how it starts working but only for a couple of seconds (5 seconds more or less). Today I went to take a look and the pressure gage is saying it's on maximum capacity. I disconnected the pump from electric supply to bleed it through the nipple and no water nor air came out but my pressure gage is still marking a maximum pressure reading. Do you know what could be the problem? Am I supposed to do another thing to release the alleged pressure inside the tank or the gage is broken? submitted by /u/Mefistofeles401 [link] [comments]
