About the Brand:

What was the spark that catalyzed the creation of EME Studios?

EME Studios wasn’t the result of a single moment, it came from a real need to tell a story and create something that was missing in the scene. Conra was inspired by brands like Hawkers, who proved that if you find a gap or a real need people have and go all in, you can build something big.

He’s always had that entrepreneurial spirit. The kind of mindset that’s driven by the hustle, by not giving up no matter what. When social media started rising, it felt like a window was opening, and he took the chance, even if there was uncertainty. There’s always risk when you start something from nothing, but he believed that as long as you kept pushing, it would work. That belief is still part of who we are.

How did fashion become a passion for you?

Fashion and the way people express themselves, show their personalities, and their authentic selves have always been something Conra and Morón have always admired. From the start, the idea was to share their own take on clothing and to create something that felt real and true to them, and that could help others express who they are and what they stand for.

How would you define EME Studios’ style?

Our style is rooted in the belief that good design does not follow trends. It makes them its own. As a fashion brand in today’s zeitgeist, we know how important it is to understand our DNA and stay true to it, unafraid to discard what does not represent us, be authentic, and express our identity through experimentation and innovation.

What was the biggest challenge in building the brand?

Starting out with limited funds was not easy. We have never had outside funding, so we had to take big risks and put everything we earned back into the project to keep things moving. It has been a lot of learning, trying and figuring things out as we go, with a clear goal in how we want to build this in mind.

One of the biggest challenges has been finding the right clothing suppliers and learning how the fashion industry works. We had to navigate it all while holding on to our values and making choices that felt right to us.

What is the biggest lesson you learned since launching the brand?

We have always believed that the key is to keep going, especially when things get hard. Never let yourself down when tough times come. Keep moving forward, no matter the challenge, because with our experience, we can tell you that nothing is truly impossible.

Can you tell us about your next collection?

Our next collection is meant to connect us to the world of entertainment a bit more, and it’s all about music. It’s something we’ve always felt close to, and now we want to bring
it into the brand in a more intentional way. We already have ties to the industry through artists who wear EME, but this time, we’re designing for them, and for the community that shares that same creative energy. We want to create pieces that feel like inspiration. Clothes that make you want to perform and create from within.

What can we expect from the upcoming NYC Pop-up?

We’ve been building momentum in the US for a while now. Our NYC showroom ran for three months, setting the stage for what’s next. The pop-up is part of that story, along with Getting Robbed, our event in collaboration with MERCER LABS. We're excited, but we’re also being real: international politics and rising tariffs might affect how we move forward. Still, we're not the kind to give up. Whatever happens, we’ll find a way to connect; that’s what we do.

What’s next for EME Studios?

We want to keep showing the world our message, our ideas, and what we stand for. Always Grateful isn’t just a tagline; it’s our way of living, and it feels more relevant today than ever. We want to be a fashion brand that genuinely reflects that feeling and keeps growing from that place.

We also have some collabs on the way that are really exciting for us, things we’ve dreamed of doing but never had the chance to until now. And of course, our events. Every year they grow, more people, more connections, more ways to give back to our community, and just have a good time.
