Installing Baseboards for the first time. I have hit a wall in terms of how to make this particular cut and need some guidance.
I have some 5 1/4 in baseboard I am installing in my house. First time ever doing this or using a saw really. I used a Miter saw and finished going through the majority of the house but I have hit a wall in what to do next. The baseboards are taller than this window base and so I need to cut the boards themselves to do a cutout and be able to fit it under there perfectly. What would be the best type of saw to do this? And also dumb question but as I’m thinking this through. Say I start cutting straight rom the top of the baseboard to do the sides how do I then angle the saw to turn to cut the other way while essentially in a piece of wood? submitted by /u/KingWizard87 [link] [comments]
