KSUBI x Mowalola Throw It Back to Y2K's Heyday
KSUBI and Mowalola are two labels that operate at the cornerstone of the cultural zeitgeist. Both the Australian denim outfitter and Nigerian-born London-based designer stay tapped in with the times and trends of youth culture and, respectively, each remain committed to disrupting these trends in their own unique ways.With that being said, it only makes sense that the two labels have connected on a debut collaboration that bridges each brand's boundary-blurring vision. Leaning into Y2K styles, the pair delivers a plethora of Gen-Z-geared garments, presented in a straight-outta-2000 campaign shot by Jessica Mae Propper and fronted by a star-studded lineup of up-and-coming rappers: Suki Baby, Skaiwater, Strawberry, Chloe Spence, Izzy Spears and Khadi.The gritty Los Angeles-set visuals feature the young tastemakers in the capsule's compilation of new subversize styles.
