Marvel Rivals Season 0 Battle Pass is available for a limited time

It’s officially been a year since Marvel Rivals took the PvP hero shooter world by storm with its Closed Alpha Test, and to thank the fans, the devs have announced the return of its Season 0 Battle Pass. NetEase Games, in its recent dev diary entry, said following the May 15 update, they’re dropping a Galacta’s Gift event, where players can earn Nameplates, Sprays, and Chrono Shield Cards as free rewards by simply playing the game.

Costume Coins, which let folks redeem the debut costume for any of the game’s 33 heroes featured in Season 0, will also be awarded to players. Unfortunately, players will need the Luxury Battle Pass, which costs 590 Lattice (a bit over $4.99), in order to earn free rewards alongside the purchase of the S0 Battle Pass.

The dev team said they’ve heard the community’s desire for past battle passes loud and clear, stating that “future Battle Pass returns might occur, but any such plans will span at least two seasons and be priced at a minimum of 20% higher than the original seasonal rate.”

It’s news that will likely please those who missed out, but could disappoint longtime players who worked hard to earn exclusive Battle Pass items and hoped they’d stay that way. But fans are already double-checking to confirm Cyan Venom and White Witch Scarlet Witch will be part of that deal.

The Season 0 Battle Pass will be available from May 15 to May 29.
