Marvel Rivals season 2 early patch notes – Emma Frost, new team-ups, Hellfire Gala, and more

It's felt like the wait has taken forever, but Marvel Rivals' season two is finally set to arrive with a big expansion of content for the hero shooter. Season two will add two new heroes, new maps, and a whole bunch of balancing to existing heroes and their team-ups. And, of course, a whole slate of new, beautiful skins themed around the epic Hellfire Gala for players to wear on the battlefield. It's currently unclear which costumes will be in the battle pass and which will be store offerings. New skins, colors, and gifting Screenshot by Destructoid Popular costumes will get re-colors available to purchase, further advancing the game's customization options. Costumes will also be giftable to friends via a new feature in the store. Competitive play updates Picks and bans will now begin in Gold III as opposed to Diamond III in the game's ranked mode, the minimum level to play ranked is now 15, and more, such as skill points earned and lost being more reflective of individual performance. It's felt like the wait has taken forever, but Marvel Rivals' season two is finally set to arrive with a big expansion of content for the hero shooter.

Season two will add two new heroes, new maps, and a whole bunch of balancing to existing heroes and their team-ups. And, of course, a whole slate of new, beautiful skins themed around the epic Hellfire Gala for players to wear on the battlefield.
