American rapper Tobe Nwigwe is moving forward as a brand ambassador for Moncler, launching his first exclusive collaboration on his own Trailgrip Momint silhouette. The model is a new addition to Moncler's Trailgrip family, inspired by the color palette in his 2022 album moMINTs. The utilitarian footwear model is birthed from Nwigwe's fashion vision, featuring a mixture of leather, suede, and nubuck on mint-hued uppers. Tonal "Chukwu" stitching pays tribute to the artist's name, while GORE-TEX accents, Ortholite insoles, and Vibram Megagrip outsoles protect your kicks during outdoor excursions. Nwigwe brings his family together for an interactive campaign, presenting his limited-edition collaboration alongside his wife and four children. The family heads to the forest dressed in head-to-toe Moncler, riding inside a vintage Mercedes-Benz in color-coordinating hues. I never imagined I would be in a position to collaborate with them. What made you want to create the Momint Trailgrip with the brand? Creating the Trailgrip Momint with the brand was honestly a no brainer. Since day one, they have believed in my vision and my family, resulting in a partnership that feels effortless, authentic and purposeful. What was the core inspiration behind the shoes? For me, the core inspiration behind the shoes is at the heart of what I do and who I am. It’s all about heritage, the journey, and purpose.
