'Monster' Star Charlie Hunnam Fronts Leather-Clad Mackage Campaign

Luxury outerwear brand Mackage unveiled its Spring/Summer 2025 campaign Thursday morning, for which it enlisted Sons of Anarchy and Monster star Charlie Hunnam and model Stella Maxwell to front the imagery.

Shot outdoors, the brand's latest imagery captures the actor and ex-Victoria's Secret Angel with a softly hued Mercedes that complements the pair's taupe outfits. Together, both figures are meant to "represent two worlds—strength and sophistication, individuality and versatility—that align perfectly with our vision for the Spring/Summer 2025 collection," per Mackage CEO Tanya Golesic in a press release.

Hunnam and Maxwell showcase the latest collection’s menswear and womenswear, each highlighting their favorite standout pieces. "I really like the Skai topcoat with down liner. It's elegant and so warm. It works as evening wear but is also great as an everyday coat," Hunnam shared in a release. "I also love my Dixon down bomber jacket with shearling collar. I can't wear it without someone asking me where I got it."

Although the 44-year-old has a busy filming schedule, he said he was eager to be a part of the newest campaign. His involvement marks a new chapter for the actor, who has gained a following after his breakout role as Jax Teller in Sons of Anarchy and continues to push boundaries with upcoming projects, including Amazon Prime Video’s Criminal and Ryan Murphy’s Monster: The Story of Ed Gein.

"I’m currently shooting Ryan Murphy’s Monster Season 3, which has been an intense but exciting journey to embark on. Prior to Monster, I wrapped production on Criminal, a series based on the graphic novels by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips. Both roles are incredibly different, but each offers a deep dive into complex and layered characters," Hunnam added.

Ahead, the English actor emphasizes the importance of rest, which was one of the most important pieces of advice he may have received thus far in his career. He said, "I had a director once tell me that the most important part of his job was to sleep eight hours a night. As a young actor I thought that was odd, but as I've gotten older, I've come to believe there is so much truth to that statement."

"Filmmaking requires a great deal of focus and stamina, so I try to sleep well, eat well and get some exercise every day. Keeping the mind and body strong is essential.  If I have extra time I try to get out into nature for a walk. I inevitably end up thinking about work, but at least I'm somewhere beautiful while I do it," he concluded.

With its latest campaign and A-list cast, Mackage highlights a collection—available to shop now across womenswear and menswear—that merges practicality with style and luxury materials.
