New Capital One Lounge Las Vegas Airport, With “Daily Rituals”

The network of Capital One Lounges is expanding, with the opening of the new Capital One Lounge Las Vegas (LAS). This mark the fourth location in Capital One’s lounge collection, complementing existing outposts in Dallas (DFW), Denver (DEN), and Washington (IAD). On top of that, there’s the new Capital One Landing concept, with the first location having recently opened in Washington (DCA).

Basics of the Capital One Lounge Las Vegas

The Capital One Lounge Las Vegas Airport is opening on Friday, February 21, 2025. The 8,200 square foot lounge is located in the main area of Terminal 3, Concourse D, on the second floor. Note that Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 aren’t connected airside, so this lounge won’t be practical for all visitors to the airport.

The Capital One Lounge Las Vegas boasts floor-to-ceiling windows that offer enclosed views of the rotunda and the Las Vegas skyline. This location will continue the lounge network’s theme of offering some consistent amenities, while also adding some local flair.

What amenities should we expect from the Capital One Lounge Las Vegas?

  • A local food and beverage selection, including in-lounge meals served and plated as small bites; options include things like chili crisp sweet potato hash and caviar deviled eggs
  • A selection of grab & go food, including jarred salads, granola bowls, and fresh fruit
  • Locally inspired craft cocktails on tap; the lounge’s signature drink is in partnership with Herbs & Rye, and is a frozen, gin-based cocktail made with kiwi puree, named the “Goblin,” for its green hue
  • An assortment of local beers and wine, with the Vienna Lager beer from Las Vegas Brewing Company featured, as part of Capital One’s “Perfect Airport Beer” program
  • Customizable wellness offerings, including beverage add-ons to boost any drink, with ingredients like nano potassium, purple passionflower, nano magnesium, ashwagandha, liposomal vitamin c, and more
  • 35 large-scale art installations from local artists, curated by Tappan
  • A dedicated open work area, and two enclosed work rooms, complete with charging outlets, desks, chairs, notepads, and pens
  • One dimly lit relaxation room, outfitted with ceiling lights designed to mimic the nighttime constellations, complete with eye masks and blankets
  • Six private, fully-stocked restrooms, equipped with changing tables (there are no showers)

The Capital One Lounge Las Vegas will also be the first location to feature a “Daily Rituals” concept, whereby signature experiences will be delivered via roaming trolley carts throughout the day. Guests can enjoy a morning Caffè Shakerato (an Italian-style shaken iced coffee with optional alcohol add-ons), an afternoon tea service (featuring a wellness tea blend from Art of Tea and pastries from Suzuya Patisserie), and a Sunset Sparkling Toast (with sparkling wine).

When it comes to credit card lounges in Las Vegas, there’s currently an Amex Centurion Lounge, so the Capital One Lounge will be the second location. However, a Chase Sapphire Lounge is also planned for the airport, though we don’t know when it will open.

Capital One Lounge Las Vegas entry requirements

Capital One Lounges can be accessed by the following people:

Getting the Capital One Venture X Card for lounge access can be totally worth it. The card has a $395 annual fee, but offers a $300 annual travel credit and 10K bonus anniversary miles every year, so having the card should cost you very little if you’re going about it right. Furthermore, you’ll be able to add four authorized users to the card at no extra cost, and they’ll receive the same lounge access perks. That makes this the ideal card for families.

Bottom line

The Capital One Lounge Las Vegas is opening, which is an exciting development. While the lounge isn’t huge, it looks fantastic, and will add some much needed lounge capacity to the airport. I really love the execution of Capital One Lounges, from the tasty food concept (including individually plated dishes and grab & go options), to the excellent coffee. I look forward to checking this place out!
