Nicked underground coax (?) cable
I nicked a cable that was under ~2 in of dirt. Any way to confirm that this is coax + any sense in trying to reseal or repair myself? I see splice kits available and assume I’d need to cut the cable which I’d like to avoid. Internet seems to work fine for the moment. Thanks in advance for your help. Obligatory shame on me for not calling 811 - this is was about 1 ft away from a sprinkler box in my back yard and I learned a lesson submitted by /u/radioactive__ape [link] [comments]
