The second week of the Overwatch Champions Series‘ (OWCS) Stage 2 regular season has concluded, revealing the current standings for both North America (NA) and EMEA.

Heading into Week 3, teams such as Gen.G and Twisted Minds have made a comeback in the EMEA scene, whilst NA has seen NTMR pull ahead from Geekay Esports and Team Liquid.

EMEA Standings For Week 2 of OWCS Stage 2

Three matches took place on May 17th. It began with Twisted Minds prevailing 3-0 against Team Peps, followed by a 3-0 victory by Al Qadsiah against Frost Tail Esports and then ended with Virtus.pro winning 3-0 against Gen.G.

The next day, on May 18th, two matches took place to conclude the week. Quick Esports kicked things off by narrowly winning 3-2 against The Ultimates, and the day concluded with Gen.G beating Frost Tail Esports 3-0.

This week saw winners become losers and vice versa. Teams such as Gen.G and Twisted Minds began Stage 2 with a loss, but left Week 2 with at least one win under their belts. By contrast, teams that started off strong, such as The Ultimates and Team peps, came up short this week.

North America Week 2 Standings

The second week began on May 17th with two matches. Sakura Esports defeated DhilDucks 3-0, and Team Liquid won 3-0 against Extinction, two dominant victories.

Three matches occurred on May 18th to conclude the week. NTMR won 3-1 against Supernova, then Spacestation Gaming triumphed over DHillDucks after winning 3-0, and Geekay Esports finished the week by defeating Sakura Esports 3-0.

NTMR maintains its lead over Geekay Esports, an organisation comprised of former NTMR players in the roster changes that occurred ahead of OWCS. With nine map wins and two losses under its belt, NTMR has pulled ahead as the team to beat heading into week 3.

What to Expect From OWCS Stage 2 Week 3

Week 3 of OWCS Stage 2 will run from May 24th-25th, 2025. For EMEA, day one will see Al Qadsiah face against Virtus.pro and then Gen.G competing against Team Peps. For day two, Fox Tail Esports will compete against Quick Esports, and the week will conclude with The Ultimates facing Twisted Minds.

In NA, May 24th starts with Geekay Esports fighting against Spacestation gaming and Team Liquid playing against NTMR. For day two, DhilDucks will kick things off with a match against Supernova, and the week will end with Extinction versus Sakura Esports on May 25th, 2025.
