Pergola/carport advice, is this possible?
I'm wanting to make this oddly shaped pergola/carport to provide some shade in the green outlined area. The garage is at the bottom of the picture and the red dots are where I'm roughly planning to put my posts. My concern is, are the spans too long? I don't want to have to put a post in the middle of my driveway. Also, is it possible to have that odd trapezoidal shape? I've never really seen anything like that but it's kind of the only way I can see doing this.
