If you’d like to upgrade your daily driver with a solid mechanical keyboard without spending a mint, Woot is offering discounts on a wide variety of keyboards from the Keychron catalog through April 3, many of which are on sale for their lowest prices ever.
Several members of the Polygon staff use Keychron keyboards every day, and they’re a great option if you’re looking for a customizable keyboard with excellent build quality that offers a wide variety of layouts. Keychron may lack the trademark gamer aesthetic found in pricier models from the likes of Razer or Corsair, but they offer similar features at a fraction of the cost.
While Keychron makes keyboards with a variety of different layouts, they’re all equipped with similar features, including aluminum construction, hot-swappable switches, RGB lighting, and excellent acoustics right out of the box. You can’t go wrong with any of the following models, but if I could pick up just one, I’d go with the Keychron Q10. The split layout not only looks cool, but it’s ergonomic and it’s equipped with a media control dial. Stocks on specific models are limited, however, so don’t take too long to choose.
