Pininfarina and Magnus Walker Reveal One-Off Battista Hyper GT
Automobili Pininfarina has unveiled a new design collaboration with car culture icon Magnus Walker, centered on a one-of-a-kind version of its all-electric Battista hyper GT. The bespoke vehicle blends Pininfarina’s luxury EV craftsmanship with Walker’s gritty urban aesthetic and motorsport rootsThe project debuted during an exclusive fireside chat held at Walker’s Los Angeles garage, where he joined Pininfarina’s Chief Design Officer, Dave Amantea, to explore the fusion of art, engineering and personal expression in car design. Moderated by Jonny Lieberman, the conversation kicked off the partnership and teased the creative process behind the build.Walker, known for his outlaw Porsche ethos, described the Battista as the "perfect blank canvas" for channeling his vision. Drawing inspiration from 1970s and ’80s design, he applied color blocking and strobe effects to produce a distinctive and era-blending aesthetic. “It was a real honor... to express my artistic creativity and personality at this moment in time,” said Walker.Only 150 Battistas will be built globally, but this one-off design takes individuality to a new level.
