Q: Is it even possible to buy #1 or Select Structural grade lumber?
I'm in the Pacific Northwest. Looking for 2x10 joists, I called several hardware stores, lumber yards, even some specialty lumber stores and the best they had was Douglas Fir "#2 and better".
