The Youth Board of the Indian state of Rajasthan has partnered with tournament organiser AA Gaming to announce the Rajasthan State Esports Championship (RSEC), an initiative aimed at integrating esports into the mainstream sports ecosystem.

The tournament will feature a blend of esports titles including Battlegrounds Mobile India, Counter-Strike 2, E-Cricket and E-Football. College students from across all 41 districts of Rajasthan will be able to compete for the winners title.

“I extend my heartfelt best wishes for the upcoming Rajasthan State Esports Championship,” said Dr. Neeraj Kumar Pawan (I.A.S), Chairman of the Rajasthan Youth Board and Secretary of the Youth Affairs & Sports Department, Government of Rajasthan.

He further added: “As Rajasthan does not yet have an official esports federation, the Youth Affairs & Sports Department of Rajasthan has taken the initiative to support the esports ecosystem by joining hands with passionate youth, many of whom have come forward through the Youth Board.”

The event will begin with Open Qualifiers, followed by Inter-College Knockout Rounds. The top teams from there will advance to the Semifinals, with the finalists moving on to the Grand Finals, which will be streamed live on AA Gaming’s official YouTube channel.

Moreover, AA Gaming will also host multiple esports workshops during the second stage of RSEC, inviting industry experts to share insights and knowledge with the players. Some of the key areas that will be covered in these workshops include the following:

  • Gaming techniques and strategic play
  • Game development fundamentals
  • Esports career pathways
  • Mental health and well-being for athletes
  • Team-building and communication
  • Professional conduct in esports
  • In-depth game analysis and review

“Through our comprehensive workshops, we aim to provide in-depth education on the key pillars of the esports ecosystem, enabling Rajasthan’s youth to emerge as innovators and leaders in the gaming and esports space,” said Akash Dhangar, Founder and CEO of AA Gaming.

The dates and registration details of RSEC have not been announced yet but are expected to be revealed soon.
