We continue to attempt and fix up our new to us 1905 Farms House. On a budget so I can’t hire any pros and have to lean as I go. House lath and plaster walls, plaster was really bad and we had to take it down. Behind you can see the structures not what new homes use “obviously” what do I use to add some insulation and to cover it with drywall. I want to make sure the walls are straight and plum, so do I just attach a bunch of 2x4s vertically to the old beams?
