Removing badly installed tile
We have tile in front of our doorway. However over the years it has cracked and the wife got tired of it and asked me to remove and replace the cracked tiles. Upon doing so, my daughter and I discovered the tiles were basically just cemented badly to particle board. Some places had almost no cement and some had lots, so it came up very unevenly and I’m left with bits of tile I’m having to chisel up. Is there an easy way to remove all of the cement residue so I can lay down some vinyl or some other easy to clean flooring or do I need to replace the boards it was glued to? submitted by /u/oldmcfarmface [link] [comments]
